2026 Competition

21 documentaries are competing for L’Œil d’or, the documentary prize created by the Cannes Film Festival and Scam, in partnership this year with INA. In addition to the films in the Official Selection, 3 international premiere documentaries, selected by Acid, are invited to compete, following the example of the Semaine de la Critique and the Quinzaine des cinéastes. The jury is chaired by Mstyslav Chernov and includes Tabitha Jackson, Géraldine Pailhas, Lina Soualem and Victor Castanet.

The Œil d’or 2026 will be awarded on Friday May 22 at 12 am in the Salon des Ambassadeurs at the Palais des Festivals. The prize is 5,000 euros.
